Puckett, Kaye B; September 26, 2012; of Pontiac; age 87. Kaye B Puckett served in the Canadian Army during World War II. He was a 17 year old private, when he was taken prisoner in Dieppe, France on August 19, 1942. He was prisoner of war for over three years. A few years after his discharge from the Canadian Army he enlisted in the United States Army and served from May 1947 until November 1952. He married his wife Nancy Joan in June 1951, who preceded him in death in 2006. They were married for over 54 years. He is survived by his son Kyle (Darcy) Puckett; daughter Susan; and 2 grandchildren, Rachel and William. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service at St. Paul United Methodist Church will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home Pontiac.
