Kirby F. Shobe

Kirby F. Shobe; of Oxford; age 71; passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2018 surrounded by his family. Kirby is the beloved soulmate and life companion of JoAnn Blondin; loving father of Steve Shobe and Chris Shobe; dear father figure of Bill and Teri; grandfather of nine; and great grandfather of nine. He was the proud owner and operator of Kirby Karpet Service and loved fishing and woodworking in his spare time. Kirby was a very knowledgeable, kind and patient teacher at heart. He enjoyed passing on his skills and life experiences to his children and grandchildren. Being the man of wisdom that he was, Kirby gave the best advice. Most of all, he was a family man and loving companion, father, grandfather and friend. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
