Kristina Marie Mccowan

We are sad to announce the passing of Kristina Marie McCowan; of Pontiac; who left us suddenly on February 12, 2023.  Kristina leaves behind her daughter Alyssa McCowan; father Michael McCowan; mother Brenda McClusky; brother Archie McCowan; grandma Janet Owen; as well as many other family and friends that loved and cherished her.  She is predeceased by her grandparents, Archie McCowan and Joanne McCowan (parents of Michael McCowan); grandfather Roger Owen (father of Brenda McClusky); and cousin Jamie Herron (mother, Bonnie O-dele).

Born on October 7, 1977, in Pontiac, Michigan and resided in Clarkston, Michigan.  Kristina McCowan attended Pontiac Northern High School and proceeded to graduate in the year 1995.  Kristina was a very fun-loving spirit, life of the party kind of person who loved roller skating, hanging out with her closest friends and boating on the lake. She was also part of her high school swim team.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Pontiac, MI 48341.  Viewing will begin at 11am and service will follow at 1pm.  Followed by a late lunch at Green's Tavern 1225 Baldwin Ave, Pontiac, MI 48340.
