Durkin, Larry, Age 62, a resident of Attica and formerly of Washington Twp., passed away on December 17, 2010. Larry was born August 5, 1948 in Detroit. Loving husband and childhood sweetheart of Brenda married for 41 years. Cherished father of Amy(Steve) Lane, JulieAnne London, Steven(Rozina) Newton and Karen Hanna. Adored grandfather of Brendan, Evan, Keenan, Aidan, Clare and McKenna Lane, Blake and Luke London, Alina Newton and Siobhan and Conor Hanna. Dearest brother of Robert(Sharon) Durkin. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Clara Durkin and son-in-law Chad London. He was the owner of Durkin & Company Contractors in Washington Twp. Larry was a member of the Masonry Institute of Michigan and the Knights of Columbus in Hale. Visitation Monday 6-9pm, Tuesday 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion(248 693-8336). Funeral service at St Clement of Rome in Romeo, WEdnesday at 10 am.
