Lawrence Taylor

TAYLOR, LAWRENCE "Bud", of Lake Orion; October 3, 2012; age 82. Beloved husband of Jean for 56 years; father of the late Susan and Felicia; brother of Bonnie Pettigrew of Arkansas. Mr. Taylor was a member of Lake Orion United Methodist Church, and was retired from Pontiac Motor. He served as a Medic in U.S. Army during the Korean War period. Bud enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, and the outdoors hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Funeral Services Saturday 11 a.m., Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Visitation Friday Lake Orion Chapel, SPARKSGRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, with suggested visiting hours of 2 to 4, and 6 to 8 p.m. The Taylor family requests memorial contributions be made to Lake Orion United Methodist Church, in lieu of flowers.
