Ld Phillips

LD Phillips; of Orion Township; age 90; passed away on December 25, 2019.  LD is the beloved husband of Dorothy who passed away in 2007; loving father of Leonard, Richard, Kenneth “Scott” (Tammy), Keith (Kris) and Kevin (Terrie); loving grandfather of Crystal (Jason) Reichle, Christopher (Emily) Phillips, Michael DeLisle, Kendra Phillips, Shelby Phillips, Nick Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Charlie Phillips, Jolie Phillips, Alex Phillips and Corey Phillips; and dear great grandfather and great great grandfather to many. He is also the dear brother of 7 surviving siblings and 7 deceased siblings.  LD retired from GM after many years where he worked as a Millwright.  He loved fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8pm and on Saturday from 10am until the time of service.  Burial with military honors will be held on Saturday at Square Lake Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Barn, which all are invited.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research or to McLaren Hospice.
