Leesa Kay Corr
3/14/1960 - 2/15/2023
Who would’ve ever known that a little girl from Eupora, Mississippi would grow up and become a Queen… God did. Leesa was everything plus more. Multi-talented is an understatement. God truly blessed her with many gifts, from being a seamstress and a beautician. Leesa had her own clothing store in the Dixieland Flea Market “Rags to Riches”. She was a traveler amongst many cities and states all while she was working for General Motors providing for her family. Late on in life, she took her talents with her to Jackson, Mississippi where she became a hotel owner, Painter, and entrepreneur dealing in real estate. Trying to make a better way again for her family. Being the matriarch that she was, she was always about getting her family together to build a strong bond between all of us. She was about celebrating life to the fullest while also being a STRICT BUSINESS!!! Fashion was something that came easy as well, knowing how to get an outfit together on the fly! Watch out there now! She passed it down to her two children as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. What a blessing God bestowed upon her. Her daughter and son-in-law were able to love and take care of her until her last days and she was very grateful, as were we just to know that she was in the best loving hands. We were all blessed to have her presence in our lives and now she has become our personal angel. We love you mama FOREVER!
Leesa leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Kia Tashae (Keith) Rouser and Jaz Allen (Chyvita) Corr; grandchildren, Keith D. Rouser, Daja M. Rouser, Jayler Q. Rouser, Justin J. Rouser, Jaz N. Corr, Kyhra K. Rouser, Kaliah T. Rouser, Kovea Rouser, Chy’Nese Corr, and Jazmier D. Corr; great-grandchildren, Italy M. Coleman, Kashton M. Rouser, Keegan D. Rouser, and Cartiae Coleman; brother, Everette (Kim) Coleman; sisters, Glenda Bolden and Minnie Mae Payton; very special god sister Zoenda Hodge; nephews, Everette W. Coleman Jr., Oscar Payton, Marcus T. Bolden, and Marion D. Embry; nieces, Atlanta T. Bolden, Shoryattae R. Embry and Kidi King; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William Crump, parents Everette Lee and Bobbie Ruth Coleman and her brother Terry Lloyd Draine.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. An obituary will be posted soon.
