Lennie Nicely

August 9, 1922 — May 5, 2006

Nicely Jr., Lennie K. of Pontiac; age 83; passed away on May 5, 2006. Lennie was born on August 9, 1922 in Dartmont, West Virginia to Lennie and Cora Nicely. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn in 2005. Lennie is survived by his children, Dennis (Linda) Nicely of Waterford and Patricia (Bobby) Heard of Springfield Twp.; his grandchildren, Dwayne Nicely, Daniel Nicely, Darrell Heard and Kimberly Melletat; four step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Lennie retired from the Pontiac Post Office after many years of service. He was a Disabled Veteran of W.W.II and was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Reverend Boyce Knight officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery.
