Sabatini, Leopoldo "Birdie" July 1,2011 Age 94 Of Almont. Beloved husband of Rose(Mendicino) of 64 years. Loving father of Sherry(Jim) Purdy, Linda(Don) Guldi, Rose Marie (Tom) Schoen, Maryann(Kirk) Curtis, Leo (Harriet) Sabatini Jr. and the late Cynthia Hoover. Father-in-law of Mike Hoover.Grandfather of 26 and Great-Grandfather of 20. Mr. Sabatini owned and operated LS Family Foods in Lake Orion for over 30 years. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11 am at St. Cornelius Catholic Church. Family will receive friends Tuesday 10 am until time of Mass at Church. Family will also receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family wishes memorials contributions to St Cornelius Catholic Church ( 3834 Mill Rd. Dryden, MI 48428) or Heartland Hospice Care.
