July 8, 1914 — March 24, 2007

Kirby, Leora "Grandma"; of Pontiac; beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many; entered into her eternal home on March 24, 2007. Leora is survived by her daughter Joan Ellen (Art) Hewitt; her son David E. (Jean) Kirby; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Grandma Kirby was preceded in death by her husband Emerson Kirby and her son Dale Kirby. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Auburn Hills Christian Center at 2592 E. Walton Blvd. Pastor Cal Garcia will provide the eulogy. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street.
