Levi Wallace Dixon was born Sunday May 29, 1960 to the late Clayton Dixon and Elizabeth Connolly-Dixon in Baltimore, Maryland. Levi had many passions one being education. He obtained many degrees and continued to seek education long after he received his degrees, his family had a long running joke of telling him he’s a professional student. Along with a passion for education Levi also loved traveling and bike riding. Some of his favorite destinations were the Caribbean and Central America. After falling ill Levi peacefully departed this life with his family at his bedside on Sunday November 21, 2021. Preceding him in death, his father Clayton Dixon, and his mother Elizabeth Dixon. He leaves to cherish his memory three children: Yelosis L. Dixon(Kim), Michael L. Dixon and Levi C. Dixon; grandchild: Triston Griffin; sister: Janet Pringle(Richard); and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. Interment will be at Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
