Linda Dale Sumbur-Morrill

Linda Dale Sumbur-Morill was born 11/1/948 in Pontiac, Michigan and passed away 4/2/2025 while in hospital in Flint, Michigan. She died peacefully of complications from Pulmonary Fibrosis with her brother Mic and sister-in Law Connie by her side. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Eleanor and Simon Sumbur, her husband Dan Morrill and her younger brother Patrick Sumbur. Linda was a creative spirit shown by designing and supervising the building of a home she and Daniel built in Milford, Michigan. The creativity also bloomed when she redesigned her childhood home on Bogie Lake after inheriting it upon her mother’s passing. Her loving spirit was seen in her lifelong caring for animals. This was done professionally through her employment for many years at the Clark Veterinary Clinic in Milford, Michigan and personally through the many dogs she raised, including rescue dogs that had disabilities. Linda is survived by her brother Mic Sumbur and wife Connie; nephew Craig Turner and wife Glenda (daughter Madison Gatewood); nephew Joe Turner and wife Lauren; nephew Lance Henderstein; niece Amber Beaton and husband Tom (children Calvin and Camille); and step-children John, Mary and Danelle Morrill. Linda will be laid to rest at the family burial plot in Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Michigan.
