Lino Davila Sr.

Davila, Lino Sr.; age 78; of Pontiac; formerly of Mio, Michigan; passed away on December 26, 2014. Loving husband of Paula Davila for 53 years. Dear father of Lino ( Alise) Davila, Rick Davila, Eugene (Tamara) Davila, Jeffery(Nikki) Davila and grandson Gilbert G. Davila. Lino was preceded in death by his son Gilbert Patrick Davila. He was a loving brother of four brothers and one sister, loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lino was also a US Army veteran, he retired from General Motors and he enjoyed fly fishing, hunting and was a musician. One of his greatest joys was performing with his wife on open mike night in front of family and friends. Lino will be sadly missed by loved ones. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Per request of the family there will be a luncheon at Airway Lanes on M59 in Waterford, Michigan. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. If you wish to attend the interment, you need to be there by 12:15 p.m. There will be no precession to the cemetery.
