Lois Lewis

Lois I. Lewis; of Saugatuck; born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 7, 1945; and passed away on November 16, 2020, at age 75.  Lois is the beloved widow to her late husband William N. Lewis Sr.; loving and dear mother to Teresa Putnam, Sharon Putnam, and Kevin (Joseph Blodgett) Putnam; dear stepmother to William N. Jr. (Gemma) Lewis, Basil (Marguerite) Lewis and Nancy (Mark) Heltsley; and loving grandmother to Shannon, Brandon (Nicki), and Samantha (Mark).   She was predeceased by her parents Gilbert (Doris) Long and brother Dale Long.  Lois is also the loving sister to Pat Long; and special aunt to Sherry Rowe-Long, Rhonda Long, and Michael Long.  Throughout Lois’ life she enjoyed working in Child Care for 10 years, and at McDonald’s Restaurants for 11 years.  She loved spending time with her family, solving puzzles, shopping, and Facebook.  Visitation will be held from 12pm -5pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, 111 E. Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362.  On Monday, November 23, 2020 a second Visitation will be held from 4pm - 6pm at Dykstra Funeral Home, 520 Lake St, Saugatuck, MI 49453.  Burial will follow at 11 am on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery, Saugatuck, MI 49453.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan Mast ALS Foundation, 2500 Waldorf  Court NW b, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49544. susanmastals.org
