Lonnie Paul Castle

Lonnie Paul Castle, age 80, of Pontiac, Michigan passed away Friday, April 24, 2026.

He was born September 9, 1945 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, a son of the late James Monroe and Vessie Mae O’Brine Castle.

He was a Veteran of the Air Force. He enjoyed being outdoors, nature, fishing, reading, and music. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristina Taylor of Ashland, Kentucky, three brothers, Thomas Castle, Hoyt E. Castle, Aubrey Gene Castle, six sisters, Adeline Castle, Jewel LeMaster, Victoria Blair, Maxine Hurst, Janet Bishop, and Louverne Castle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Castle of Pontiac, MI, two daughters, Londa Castle of Pontiac, Michigan, Michelle (Christopher) Strang of Pontiac, Michigan, two granddaughters Tiffaney Taylor of Ashland, Kentucky, Kendra Taylor of Ashland, Kentucky, twin grandsons Javier and Xavier Strang of Pontiac, MI along with many nieces and nephews who will sadly miss him.
