Lucy E. Hatfield

September 1, 1920 — September 23, 2011

Hatfield, Lucy E.; of Lake Orion; passed away September 23, 2011 at the age of 91; beloved wife for 65 years of the late John C., who passed away March 26, 2004; dear mother of Eleanor Pratt of Austin, Texas and John G. (Su) Hatfield of Addison Twp.; loving grandmother of five; and great grandmother of eight. Lucy has lived in Lake Orion since 1950 and lovingly became known as the "Mayor" of Bellevue Island. She will always be remembered for her gardening, Southern cooking, and handing out treats and cookies to all the neighborhood kids. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
