Luis Contreras

October 6, 1944 — February 10, 2010

Luis Contreras, of Pontiac; born October 6, 1944; passed away February 10, 2010 at the age of 65 years. Luis was a loving Husband to Manuela Gonzalez for 35 years; a loving father to Steven Contreras (Tammy), Patrick Contreras (Rachael), and one and only daughter Suzanne Contreras; and cherished grandfather to Estevan, Emilio, Xena, Ailena, Adrianna, Neaveh and David. Luis was the son of the late Ysabel Contreras and Amelia Hernandez, the brother of the late Lucia Enriques (Arturo), brother Eddie Contreras (Corina), sister Isabel Jaso (Greg),the late Juan Contreras sister Carmen Ramirez (Paul), brother Miguel Contreras (Maria), brother Jose Contreras (Martha) and the late Suzanne Contreras; and many step brothers and sisters. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Luis retired from General Motors after 14 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
