Luis Herminio Mangual

Luis Herminio Mangual; age 77 of Pontiac; passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2022 surrounded by his family. His mother Sara Negron, father Luis Herminio Mangual and brother Gilberto Negron preceded Luis in death. Luis leaves behind his siblings; Gloria Guzman and Aida Rosado Columbani. He was the father of Jessica, Alberto (Beatriz), Miguel (Samantha) and Jaime (Shaya). grandfather of Demond Jr., Samaria, Timothy, Miguel Jr., Gabriela, E'Mani, Mario, Mason, Julian and Lilliana, and several nieces, nephews and friends. Luis was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico and moved to Michigan in the late 70's. Luis was a loving father. He was a good cook and enjoyed doing so. He loved to dance and listen to variety of Spanish music. One of his favorite artists was Elvis Crespo. Luis had a smile that would light up a room. He had a great sense of humor. He loved to be around family and and friends. He enjoyed family events/parties. He loved his grandchildren dearly and would enjoy watching them play, dance and show them new tricks. Years ago Luis worked at the Palace of Auburn Hills and would often bring things home for his children. His family, friends and everyone who knew him well will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be held at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home Pontiac, on Saturday February 12, 2022 @ 12pm noon. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
