Madeline Pawloski; of Lake Orion; age 96; passed away on May 4, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to Frank and Anna Senko of North Branch. Madeline was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Pawloski whom she married April 30, 1960. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Frank Senko, Julia Vettese and Ernest Senko.
Madeline graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree and devoted ten years to teaching Elementary Education in the Utica School District.
Madeline and Leo made their home in Lake Orion, where she lived for 55 wonderful years and raised their family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Alaine (Charlie) Schumacher, the late Joel Pawloski and Loren (Vickie) Pawloski. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lauren Schumacher, Brent Schumacher, Brooke Pawloski, Duncan Pawloski, Matilda Miller, Sydney Self, Brandon (Whitney Pawloski) and Anna Pawloski; and great grandmother of Leo Pawloski, Lucy Pawloski and Lorynn Pawloski.
A woman of faith and compassion, Madeline was a member of the Knights of Columbus Women’s Guild and dedicated her time volunteering at Haven in Pontiac and at St. Joseph Catholic School as an art teacher in the early 70’s.
Madeline loved being outdoors gardening and found happiness tending to her large garden and beautiful flower beds.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
