MANIACE, MARCO November 21, 2008 age 92 of Oxford. Beloved husband of the late Louise. Dear Fiance` of Marie Pearce. Loving father of Joseph(Catherine) Maniace of Lake Orion and Matthew(MaryAnn) Maniace of FL. Grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 14. Brother of Rose Mazzola, Mary(George) Haddad and Frances Tomalin. Mr. Maniace was a Technician and Supervisor for Chevrolet Engineering. He was a member of the K of C East Detroit; a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific, receiving the WWII Victory Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon; Past Commander of the D.A.V. Post in Standish, MI; a member of St Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11am at St Joseph Catholic Church (715 N. Lapeer Rd.) Family will receive friends Monday 5-8 and Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Prayer service Tuesday 7:30 PM. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
