Margaret June Sprague

Margaret June Sprague, beloved wife of the late Duane Sprague, and last surviving of her 11 siblings, has passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 90. Born on January 18, 1933, June was a devoted mother to seven children, a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren, and a cherished great grandmother to twenty-three.

Known for her love of fishing, gambling, country music, and indulging in the latest gossip, June was a force of nature. Her strong-willed and stubborn attitude defined her, making her a resilient and determined woman.

Though not one to show affection easily, her love for her family ran deep. June's legacy will live on through her large, tight-knit family who will forever remember her as the spirited matriarch who left an indelible mark. She will be greatly missed but her memory will forever remain in their hearts.  A private family service will be held.  Interment Oxford Township Cemetery, Oxford, MI.
