MARJORIE "MARGE" HODGES, of Lake Orion; wastaken to be with the Lord by amassive stroke on September 9,2006 at the age of 84. Belovedwife of the late Jack R. HodgesSr.; dear mother of Jack(Cindy) Jr. of Oak Park, Nancy(the late Bink) England andcompanion of Roger Williams ofLake Orion; David (Linda) ofLake Orion; and Jeff (Gayle) ofBellville; loving grandmother ofJulie, Anna, Christine, Andrea,Mila, Aaron, Laura, Carmen,Shannon, Nudal, Emily, Ashlee,Adam, and Stuart; alsosurvived by many nieces andnephews; great grandmother ofHeather, Molly, Piper, Allison,Bella, Cooper, Hannah, Adam,Jeffrey, Brandon, and Marcus.Mrs. Hodges served as the OrionTownship Clerk for 8 years,and was Past-President of theOakland County Township Association.She served as a StephenMinister, was a memberof the Howarth United MethodistChurch, the Church StreetSingers, Life Member of theOrion Democratic Club, TheRed Hat Society, RandallBeach Homeowners Association,and a charter member ofthe Backyard Swing Sets. Mrs.Hodges was involved in theOrion Township Cable Television,where she was the producer and director of the"Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise"series. Funeral ServicesWednesday at 11 a.m. from theHowarth United MethodistChurch. Interment SquareLake Cemetery. Friends maycall at the Lake Orion Chapel,Sparks-Griffin FuneralHome (248-693-8336) on Mondayfrom 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesdayfrom 2 to 9 p.m. The Hodgesfamily will also receivefriends on Wednesday from 10a.m. until time of services atthe church. Memorials may bemade to The Church StreetSingers.
