Mariana Morales De Cardona

Mariana Morales de Cardona (lovingly known as Marina); age 80; went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2021. Marina was the beloved wife of Emilio Cardona Ortiz; loving mother to Lizzette (Bill), Erik, Martin (Lisa), and Lourdes (Fernando); proud grandmother to Lymariliz, Billy, Daniel, Kristoffer, Richard, and Rosario; and great-grandmother to Nathan and Mariana; daughter to the late Martin Morales and the late Basilia Ortiz. Mariana was the youngest sister of twelve siblings of which she was the only survivor. A great daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, spouse, and friend. Marina was a woman of faith and prayer, and very devoted to saying the rosary on a daily basis. She was always known to be kind, loving and patient. She has left a legacy of love in all of us. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Pontiac, Michigan.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul, Pontiac, Michigan. A burial will take place in Puerto Rico at a later date.

Mariana Morales de Cardona (también conocida como Marina), a los 80 años de edad regresó a la casa del Padre el día 12 de Marzo del 2021. Amadísima esposa de Emilio Cardona Ortiz, amorosa madre de Lizzette (Bill), Erik, Martin (Lisa) y Lourdes (Fernando). Orgullosa abuela de Lymariliz, Billy, Daniel, Kristoffer, Richard y Rosario; y bisabuela de Nathan y Mariana. Era la única sobreviviente y menor de doce hermanos del matrimonio de Martin Morales y Basilia Ortiz. Marina se destacaba por ser mujer de fe y oración, rezaba el rosario todos los días. Un excelente ser humano llena siempre del amor de Dios, buena hija, hermana, esposa, tia, madre, abuela, bisabuela y amiga.

La Misa Memorial se llevará a cabo el martes 23 de Marzo del 2021 a las 6:30 pm en San Vicente de Paul, Pontiac. El entierro se llevará a cabo en Puerto Rico posteriormente.
