Marie Lenore Neaves; of Pontiac; passed away August 27, 2011 at the age of 90; beloved wife of the late John Neaves; loving mother of Richard (Alice), Edward, Nancy (Mike) Flores, Vicky (Luis) Jimenez, Helen (Tony) Hernandez and Catherine (Kevin) Shipp; and dear grandmother of 15, great-grandmother of 23, and great-great grandmother of eight. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Frances Donaghy.Marie retired from Pontiac General Hospital after many years of service. She was a lifetime member of the Sociedad Mutualista Mexicana Club, and a member of the LaAmistad Seniors. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Msgr. William Easton officiating. The family will receive friends at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Rosary Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the MS society or the American Cancer Society. Reflections may be shared with the family by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com
