Marilyn B. Johnson, of Lake Orion; age 80; passed away January 10, 2009; beloved mother of Mary (Dennis) Brown; loving grandmother of Dana (Antoinette) Bradway; step grandmother of Georgiann (Shawn) Salkeld, Heather (Mark) Ereg and Shanon (Tim) Brown; special great grandmother of Meadow Bradway, Alexis Salkeld and Tyler Ereg; and dear sister of Donald (Fran) Johnson and Marge (Chuck) Coley. She is also survived by her dear friend Polly Hewitt and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Mary Johnson and her brother Robert Johnson. For all her help and friendship a special thank you to Genine Johnson. Marilyn retired from Sea Ray Boats in Oxford after 17 years and she was a member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church where she volunteered in the kitchen for many years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment East Lawn Cemetery.
