Kay Marilyn McVicar, of Lake Orion; passed away May 14, 2009 at the age of 69; beloved wife of Marvin; loving mother of Tim (Connie), Tom and Tracy (Shelley) McVicar; dear grandmother of eight; great grandmother of two; and sister of Richard Floyd and Reiko, Eleanor (Jerry) Hurtik, Robert (Linda) Floyd and Jim (Debbie) Floyd. Kay was a charter member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Oakland County Sportsman's Club and Den Mother of Pack #59. She was also a bookkeeper and an Avon Lady. Kay will always be remembered by her family as being a devoted wife and mother. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home with suggested visiting hours on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Interment East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Home and Hospice Advantage.
