Marion G. Burgess

December 1, 1916 — October 13, 2007

BURGESS, MARION GRACE peacefully entered eternal rest on October 13, 2007 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Maxwell R. Mrs. Burgess was a lifetime resident of Gingellville. She was the loving matriarch of her family which includes sons: Robert (La Donna) and Gerald (Karen); daughters: Joan Crombie (Ed McDowell), Janet (Mike) Womack and Diane (Al) Erickson. She was preceded in death by two sons: Donald and Gene Paul, a granddaughter: Kelli, brother: Eugene McRath and sister: Mildred Denton. She was the blessed grandma of 13, great-grandma of 22 and great-great-grandma of 1. Marion was a steadfast and loyal friend to many and enjoyed serving as president of the P.T.A. and the MOMS organization. Marion retired from the Sears and Roebuck Co. Funeral service Tuesday 6pm at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 3pm until time of service. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. She will always be in our hearts. Always, always.
