Maritza Ramos

Maritza Ramos; of Pontiac; born on July 24, 1967 in St. Croix, USVI. She went to be the Lord on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Maritza is the loving mother of Jermaine (Heaven) Ramos and Quenten Matthews Jr; and dear grandmother of Julian Ramos. She is also survived by her birth mother, Ana Iris Parrilla; birth siblings, David Parrilla, Jesus Carmona, Jasmine Carmona and Lucy Carmona; and rearing siblings, Nilsa (Sam) Rosado, Migdalia (Orlando) Rodriguez, Luis (Liz) Quinones, Ivan (Lisa) Quinones, Carlos (Cynthia) Quinones, Julio Quinones and Hector Quinones. Maritza was preceded in death by her rearing mother, Natividad Quinones; rearing father, Manolin Quinones; and rearing brothers, Manolin Quinones Jr. and Marcial Quinones.

Special Words of Reflection by her son Jermaine: My mother was a very kind and loving person who was very beautiful and enjoyed taking photos whenever she could.

Special Words of Reflection by her son Quenten: There are not enough words in our language to describe how much I really truly love my Mom. She showed me so much in such the little time I had with her. My Mom was the epitome of strength, endurance and will to fight; not only for what she believed in, but also you, if you stood in her way. For me, having a Mom was like having a Ring Man. She was always in my corner and always thought that I could win or do anything my heart desired. I thank God for allowing the brief time I did have with my Mom. It hurts that she is gone, but I know I will see her again in her youth like I never saw her before.
