Marjorie M. Rennie; April 20, 2012; age 87; of Prescott Valley, AZ - formerly of Lake Orion, MI and Fountain Hills, AZ; Preceded in death by beloved husband of 63 years, "Jack" Rennie. The youngest and last member of her original family. Dear mom of John (Linda) Rennie, of Lake Orion, and Kathy Gaddy of Prescott, AZ. Beloved Grandmother of "Jay" (Tonka) Rennie , Coryn (Matt) Szadyr, Rose (Sean) Cato , Ryan (Leigh) Gaddy, and Katlin (Dan) Cackowski. Great Grand-Mother of Harmony, Ian, Kaleigh, Dominic and Baby Cackowski to come. A lifetime friend to a treasured few. Marge spent her lifetime in accounting, with an uncanny ability to work numbers manually better than most could on a calculator. Owning and operating Cruise Out Marine, their family business, afforded opportunities to travel the world, and develop friendships treasured for a lifetime. Overcoming personal trials throughout her life was a testament to her inner strength and perseverance to the very end. She had a strong and dominant presence in her business life, yet possessed a kind, compassionate, light-hearted and generous soul in private. The way she touched our lives will be different for each, and comforting in their own ways. Funeral service: 11AM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8pm, and Wednesday 9-11AM. Interment at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI. In remembrance, please plant a red rose and admire its wonder and beauty. A donation tribute may also be made to American Diabetes Association.
