Marsha Austermann

Marsha "Mammy" Ann Austermann; passed away peacefully on January 20, 2014; born in Detroit on March 1, 1939 to Mary & Curtis Silverest. Beloved wife of Hans "Jerry" Austermann; dear mother of Melissa (Jay) Berwick, Hans F. (Barbara) Austermann and Eric (Cindy) Austermann; loving grandmother of Preston, Allison, Nicole, Michael, Madeleine, Noah, Lucas, and Seth; and special friend of Carol Ann Kovatch and Donna Links. She was a housewife that also worked at McDonalds in Lake Orion, a Girl Scouts Leader, a Sunday School Teacher at King of Kings Church and worked at several group homes in the Lake Orion area. Marsha enjoyed her family, grandchildren, Florida, Dominoes and Casinos. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11am at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2- 4 & 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
