Marty Lietke

September 2, 1950 — April 9, 2011

Martin "Marty" Lietke; of Lake Orion; age 60; passed away April 9, 2011; beloved husband of Patricia; loving father of Nathan and Brandon (fiancé Rainey Shell); and dear brother of Michael Lietke, Pat (Joe) Park, Carolyn (Steve) Mickalacki, and the late Julie Lietke. Marty will always be remembered for the devotion and care of his wife Patricia. He was a member of the Lake Orion Men's Softball Hall of Fame, and a member of the 1000 hits club. Marty was a sports enthusiast, a lifelong Carpenter, and an all around nice guy. He will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday with suggested visiting hours of 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
