Marvin O. Mcvicar

September 9, 1938 — November 20, 2024

Marvin O. McVicar; of Lake Orion; age 86; passed away on November 20, 2024.  Marvin is the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Kay, who passed away in 2009 after 48 years of marriage; the loving father of Tim (Connie), Tom, and Tracy (Shelley); loving grandfather of 10; and great grandfather of 11.  He is also survived by his brother Roger (Mary) McVicar, and his sister Joann Caulk.  Marvin was a Veteran of the Army and a life member of the Oakland County Sportsman Club.  He retired from Pontiac Motors after 35 years as an Architectural Engineer.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11:00 am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home.  Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Orion Veterans Memorial.
