Mary Ann Eager

Mary Ann Eager; formerly of Oxford, died Tuesday December 5, 2023.   She was born on December 2, 1949, in Howell, Michigan.  Mary Ann graduated with a master’s degree in education (MEd) from Oakland University and went on to be a Special Education Teacher for over 20 years at Murphy Elementary School, of the Lapeer School District.

She met the love of her life, Dennis White in 1972 and they married in 1983.  He was dedicated to her care until his passing in November 2020.  When she was able, Mary Ann loved to travel with Dennis, Loretta and Brass to ball parks, casinos, and music events.

Mary Ann is survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous (60+) cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dennis; her parents Dorothy and Ford; her sister Rebecca (Ronnie); and her brother Jim.

Per her request, her brain has been donated to Harvard Brain institute for further research of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  She was well cared for by McLaren Lake Orion Nursing Home and McLaren Hospice, we thank them for their wonderful compassion and dedication.

Per the request of Mary, no services will be held.
