Mary Louise Johnstone

Mary Louise Johnstone; of Rochester Hills; age 78; passed away on October 29, 2019. Mary was the beloved wife of the late William Francis Johnstone; loving mother of William (Carolyn), Timothy (Katrina), Todd (Kim), and Jeff (Rebecca) Johnstone; loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 4. She was also the dear sister of the late Chester Dwayne Gravelle, the late Beverly Gravelle, the late Douglas Gravelle and the late Robert Gravelle. Mary was a caring, outgoing person who loved socializing and being with friends and family more than anything. She especially adored her son Tim's dog, Samantha. She could be stubborn at times but was a very loyal person who would always stand up for her loved ones. Being a member of the Orion Oxford Eagles was very important to her and she enjoyed helping the community. Mary played and taught the accordion, she always had a passion for music. She loved to travel with her family and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers and Lions teams. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be dearly missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4-8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
