Mary Jo Masters; Age 72; of Pontiac; passed away on December 24, 2020. Mary was born November 05, 1948 to Marion McLean and Maynard Johnson in Pontiac, Michigan.

Mary loved cooking, antique shopping and spending time with her family. She was skilled in crafts and home decorating, which was her favorite past time. Reading and writing was one of her passions, she had planned on writing a book one day.

She was survived by her 3 children, James (Sabrina) Stewart, Rose Vining and Davona (Michael) Jones. Grandchildren Juanisha Stewart, Kanitta Jackson, Devonte Stewart, Sidney Lanehart, Antonio Stewart, Brianna Stewart and Joshua Stewart and a host of great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Special Thanks to her cousin Robert (Darlene) McLean who resides in California. She was preceded in death by her loving mother and father Marion and Maynard Johnson, brother Russel Johnson, childhood best friend Paula Zosso, great-grandaughter Ava Smith and grandson Quevonte McClain-Stewart.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on January 09, 2021 at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Michigan. Social distancing is strongly encouraged, and masks are required.
