Mary Olski

Mary Olski; 1927 - 2014; passed away peacefully at Sanctuary at Bellbrook in Rochester Hills on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Olga Wasylyk, her husband Stanley Olski, daughter Anna Marie and her brother Harry Wasylyk. She will be missed by her son Michael and daughter Frances Chartrand (Neil). Survived by her sister Annie Scheuern (Charles) and family Bonnie Mulville (Larry) and Harry Wayne Wasylyk (Cathy) and their children; sister in law Anne Wasylyk; grandma to David, Darin, Cameron, Laura, Andrea and their spouses; and great grandma to Vanessa, Pierce, Hanna, Adam and Ashley. Mary also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and their spouses. Visitation at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, 111 East Flint Street, Lake Orion on Monday, September 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with Rosary Prayers to begin at 7 pm. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 North Lapeer Road, Lake Orion on Tuesday, September 9th at 11:00 am. Special thanks to the nurses and staff who cared for Mary while she lived at Sanctuary at Bellbrook and her former home care worker Cathleen Gallagher who remained a very close friend. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Vincent de Paul would be welcomed.
