Fitzgerald, Maurice E. Jr., December 29, 2007; of Waterford; formerly of Pontiac; age 92. Beloved Father of Patrick (Loretta) Fitzgerald of White Lake, Sharon (Michael) Kalinowski of White Lake, and Margaret "Peggy" (Ed "Dennis") McMahon of Oxford. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; dear brother of Grace Miller and Patricia Baker; and brother-in-law of Helen Fitzgerald and Mac Hallenbeck. Maurice was preceded in death by his wife Rose; parents Maurice E. Sr. and Grace Fitzgerald; brothers Tom and Jack Fitzgerald; sisters Marie Sturm, Jane Dennis and Barbara Hallenbeck. Maurice worked for Baldwin Rubber and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was happily living at Fox Manor in Waterford at the time of his death. Maurice was a member of St Benedict's Catholic Church, St. Benedict's Choir, and was an Eagle Scout and member of Clinton Valley Council of Boy Scouts for 15 years. He loved his family, music, golf and making others laugh. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Benedict's Catholic Church, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. until time of service, Father Thomas Kuehnemund officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. at Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery.
