Max L. Waite

Max L. Waite; of Lake Orion; age 97; January 18, 2013. Max was preceded in death by his beloved wife Florence of 64 years. He is the loving father of Roger (Dianna), Douglas (the late Gail), Carol Ann (Thomas) Simmons, and Sharon (David) Preston; special grandfather of nine; and cherished great grandfather of 16. Max was a very active and longtime member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. He was a dedicated husband and caretaker to his wife Florence and a devoted family man. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church with Pastor Marge Munger officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or the Lake Orion United Methodist Church.
