Michael "Pops" Lalich

Michael "Pops" Lalich; age 80; of Lake Orion; passed away at home on April 26, 2012. Loving father to Michealann (Richard) Roberts of Metamora and Georgeann (Daniel S.) Foster of Lake Orion. Proud grandfather of Michael S. Perkins, Nicole Perkins, Daniel M. (Amy) Foster and Cory Roberts. Great grandpa of Michael D. Perkins and Jenna Foster. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and is the former Commander of American Legion Post #1001, Chicago, IL. Michael is a current member of Post #220, Chicago, IL and is an avid fan of the Lake Orion Men's Softball League. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, per Mr. Lalich's request, donations be made to the Lake Orion Men's Softball League or the American Cancer Society.
