Michele "Miki" Holdwick

Michele "Miki" Holdwick passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Miki is the beloved wife of Jerry Holdwick, who preceded her in death in 2020; the loving mother of Becky (Andy) Dutkiewicz, Nicky (Jeremy) Tennant, Kelly (Ian) Kelley; and the dear gramma of Carson Tennant, CeCe Kelley, Ben Dutkiewicz, Petra Kelley, Kylie Tennant, Russell Kelley and Jake Dutkiewicz. She was also preceded in death by her loving parents Bernard and Gabrielle Priemer.

Miki was born on March 27, 1955 in Port Huron, Michigan.

She grew up in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School.

She married Jerry, the love of her life in 1972. A few years later they started their family in Lake Orion where they eventually moved to their forever home in Leonard.

She was a proud homemaker who also worked part time for several years as a department manager at her local food market.

Miki always looked forward to her daily cup(s) of coffee which was always a must to “jumpstart” her day.

Her hobbies included playing euchre, completing crossword puzzles, attending her grandkids' sporting events, dance recitals, band concerts, and theatre performances. She loved anything to do with shopping and enjoyed attending craft shows. She particularly loved the online hunt to find the perfect homecoming and prom attire for her granddaughters. She also loved attending and helping with bridal and baby showers and was very creative with her crafting and sewing projects.

Miki & Jerry loved feeding the wildlife and watching nature in their beautiful backyard. They also enjoyed going on family camping trips in northern Michigan.

She will always be remembered for being a loving wife to Jerry, a loving mom and gramma and she will be dearly missed by all.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service.

Miki’s final resting place will be alongside her loving husband in the mausoleum at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Oakland Township, which will take place privately at a later date.
