Miguel Flores; of Pontiac; age 80; passed away on August 22, 2017. Miguel is the loving husband of the late Nancy Flores; beloved father of Miguel (Andrea) Flores, Alejandro Flores, Diana Flores, Elena (Leo Jr.) Huantes, Ronald Smith, Russell Smith, Rhonda Padilla and Robert Smith; dear brother of Jose (Gloria) Flores, Maria G. Vela, Ruben (Yolanda) Flores, Irma Flores, Pablo A. Flores and SanJuana (Ray) Lopez; loving grandfather of 14; and great grandfather of 13; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Miguel retired from General Motors Truck & Bus after 30 years of service. Miguel was a former Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus Council #600, founder of Azteca Golf LGE, bowled on Azteca Senior League in Waterford, coached Azteca men’s baseball and softball team and Golf Ranger for the Pontiac Municipal Golf course. Miguel was a strong supporter of the Azteca Youth Enrichment Program. He loved to bowl, go to the Casino and golf. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Damion of Molokai Parish, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 46408 Woodward Ave., Pontiac. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with Rosary service at 7pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. Rite of committal at Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery.
