Milagros "Millie" Nieves

In loving memory of Milagros “Millie” Nieves; age 47; of Pontiac, MI; passed away January 2, 2022. Milagros was a beautiful wife to Miguel Cartagena; an astonishing mother to Maria Nieves, Francisco Reyes and Kasha Reyes; tremendous daughter to Pablo and Maria Nieves; loving sister to Hector Nieves, Luz Damiris Ovando, Iris Nieves and Pablo Nieves Jr.; and an adoring to many nieces and nephews. She was also a beloved animal mother to Puffy, Bom Bom and Chocolate; and a sweet soul to all of her friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish – St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be at Perry Mount Park Cemetery immediately following mass. After burial the family is inviting everyone to a luncheon at the First General Baptist Church of Waterford, 2933 Frembes Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329.
