Mildred R. Tingley

August 1, 1911 — January 10, 2007

Mildred R. Tingley; age 95; of Picayune, Mississippi; passed away at her home on January 10, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Mildred was a member of the Church of the Way in Carriere, MS and a former member of Meadowbrook Christian Church of Rochester Hills, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Tingley, one son Gene Barton Tingley, parents, three brothers, one sister and three grandchildren. Mildred is survived by her son James R. (Joyce) Tingley of Sweetwater, Tennessee, daughter June M. (M. Dale) Clabaugh of Picayune, MS, 13 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on January 30th, 2007 at the Church of the Way in Carriere, MS. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan or to your local hospice care.
