Milford R. Parrish Sr.

Milford R. Parrish Sr. "Mel"; of Lake Orion; age 94; November 8, 2012; beloved husband of the late Rosalie; loving father of Gary of Warren, Rick (Renee) of Lake Orion, Ruth (Jim) Ankney of Allendale, and the late Danny; loving grandfather of 11; and great-grandfather of many. Mel was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a longtime member of the Big Chief Barbershop Chorus in Pontiac and also sang for many years with the Church Street Singers. Mel was also a recipient of the Citizen of the Year award in Pontiac. Private family funeral services have been held through SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion.
