Minyon Onealdia McConney; of Pontiac, MI and Elm Flat, TX; January 21, 2016; age 78; loving mother of Crystal McConney and Edmond “Duane” (Evelyn) McConney; grandmother of four; great-grandmother of one; one sister, Alfreda Hawkins; three brothers, Ricky Thomas, Donzell Broadnax and Orson Thomas. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles Spencer Thomas and Opal Thomas; sister Myrtle Minner; brother, Henry Clay Sweeney, Graduate of Pontiac High School Class of 1957. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home Pontiac. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
