Mona Kay Hatfield (Caverly)

Mona Kay Hatfield, age 74, of Oxford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024. She is survived by her loving longtime partner of 26 years, David Maki; beloved sons, Ken and Joe Little; adoring grandchildren, Miranda, Nicolas, Tyler, and Christopher; and brothers, Richard and Kenny.

Mona is preceded in death by both of her parents, Merril and Edna Caverly; sisters, Thelma, Marion, Margaret, and Barb; and brothers, Sunny, Melvin, Basil, Lawrence, and Art.

Mona truly enjoyed working at Beaumont Hospital – Troy as a secretary and retired after many years of service. She also enjoyed vacationing in Florida every chance she could. Mona and Dave also loved going out on the boat on Lake Orion; that is where you could find her most weekends. She will be deeply missed by all who love her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
