Morley N. Burns Iii

December 25, 1991 — August 14, 2019

Morley N. Burns III; of Auburn Hills; age 27; passed away surrounded by his family on August 14, 2019. Morley is the beloved husband of Samantha and their loving companion Zazu; dear son of Morley (Edith) Burns Jr.; brother of Marissa Burns; grandson of Betty and the late Morley Burns Sr. and the late Howard and Patricia Kaptur; son in law of Larry and Sherry Wichlacz of Cheboygan; and brother in law of Nicole (Matt) Drake and their daughter Lily, Adam Wichlacz, Andrew Wichlacz and Alyson Wichlacz. Morley is also survived by Helen (the late Bud) Lahaie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and teammates. Morley graduated from Rochester Adams High School in 2010. He went on to play soccer at Saginaw Valley State University where he later graduated from in 2015. Morley enjoyed doing anything active and no matter what it was, he made it competitive. He loved Manchester United and watching any sport that was on TV. Morley also enjoyed the outdoors. It didn’t matter if it was on the water, on a mountain skiing, or in the woods at the 4B Ranch in Curran. Morley was a family man, a dear friend, and a teammate forever, who will be dearly missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11am at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 171 W. Pike Street, Pontiac. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-6pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception in the church auditorium. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Morley, please send donations to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation .
