Nellie J. La Salle, October 13, 2008; of Pontiac; age 79; born February 21, 1929 in Atlanta, Michigan; loving mother of Pierre, Henry, Denise (Jack) Stockwell, Donald, William (Anita) and Gary. Nellie is survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores (Emerson) Guilliat and Bessie Davis. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Nellie retired from General Motors after many years of service and enjoyed her retirement with her family. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008 from St. Michael's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday 5 to 9 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
