Olga Guerrero, our beloved mother and grandmother sadly passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 83. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who was always there when needed for her kids, grandkids, friends or neighbors. Olga would give to anyone that was in need. She was also an excellent cook! If she knew you loved a meal of hers, she wouldn't hesitate to make it for you anytime you came by to visit her.
Olga was born on December 10, 1940, in Uvalde, Texas, and later moved to Pontiac, Michigan, where she was proud to be a member of the city. She worked at Pontiac General Hospital as a Surgical Technologist and, after many years, retired to be a stay-at-home mother.
Olga is the daughter of the late Jesusa (Aguilera) and Juan Alvarado: loving Mother of Lydia Hirsch (Mike Glazebrook), Rosie Rocha, Carilu Guerrero, and Rick (Pat) Gonzalez; grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 14;and great-great grandmother of 3. She is also survived by her two siblings, Rosa Vasquez and Mary Alvarado; preceded in death by their brother Ruben Alvarado. She also had 13 nieces and nephews.
Olga was a Mother/Grandmother figure to many many children she had a hand in raising into the people they are today. She will be sadly missed by many.
