Otis Underwood, Jr.

Otis M. Underwood Jr.; of Metamora; passed away suddenly on June 30, 2018 at the age of 76. Otis is survived by his beloved wife Billie Westmoreland-Underwood of 35 years; his sons Otis “Chip” (Amy) Underwood and Michael John Underwood; and his grandchildren Jacob, Ian and Ella. He is also survived by his sister Patricia (Harold) Shoemaker; brother-in-law Alan (Patricia) Westmoreland; and sister-in-law’s Sue (Terry) Laudal and Rita (Dale) Davis. Otis was a dedicated Attorney who owned and operated Underwood and Associates, P.C. in Oxford. He loved politics and enjoyed a good debate from time to time. He was also an avid tennis competitor, cat lover, and in his spare time, enjoyed woodworking. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and friend. Family and Friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 3-6pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
